Beaujolais d'Auteuil
99, boulevard de Montmorency, 75016, ParisCuisine: Français
This traditional Parisian bistro can be found in the 16th arrondissement (Metro Port d'Auteil) of Paris and boasts an old style décor with grand mirrors, purple velvet covered banquettes and bistro style chairs. The contemporary style lighting offers a modern touch. In the kitchen the young chef of Beaujolais d'Auteil has created an original selection of dishes such as the Parisian egg casserole, cod with celery remoulade and caviar of smoked herring, country paté with pumpkin chutney and lentil velouté with foie gras for starters followed by pork cheek braised in red wine served with carrots and mashed potatoes or grilled leg of lamb served with courgettes sautéed in garlic. Desserts are just as tempting such as the chocolate banana cake, the famous pear and apple tatin with praline cream, the citrus fruit floats with green tea syrup or the double chocolate moelleux. The tables on the terrace are perfect for warm sunny days.
